2012: A Year of Reckoning, Awakening, or Both?

Now that the RNC and DNC conventions are over....are you ready for some football? :) My friend and hip hop journalist Davey D had me on his radio program (Hard Knock Radio) a couple weeks ago to discuss my latest essay on Race and the 2012 election... I was also an invited panelist for a session (on same topic) at the American Sociological Association's annual conference in Denver last month, and this "essay" = my notes for that panel. The Long Hiatus

Yes, I do still have a blog. Memo to self: Post more consistently...if only a quick thought, or an interesting link to share. I will try to get better :)
