FYI...

The Summer Academy is uniquely designed to offer students the specialized knowledge and skills required to begin a dynamic career in the world of policy research – especially research on policies and programs that disproportionately affect minorities and distressed communities.

The UI Summer Academy is free to students who are accepted.

In addition, the program will provide students with:

- Round trip transportation to Washington, DC
- Housing at nearby George Washington University dormitories
- $4,000 stipend*

this seemed like the perfect internship for me until I got confused about whether I qualify(and even after going into details on the UI site I still don't know)

By the way tina, I'm currently doing an internship for something very similar and it's research-based too. I'm just not sure if it's all it's cracked up to be(ie a nonprofit secretly turning corporate) lol.. if your interested in knowing more/give your opinion message me through this blogger profile
